Hi, my name is Tara and I’m a Pathfinder Managed Funds investor.

Why I Invest

For me, investing is about looking into the future and preparing for retirement, preparing for later in life, being a good citizen, having dignity and choices in your future.
A little bit accreting over time can make a big difference to yourself and your family, and you can also have a big negative impact over time if you’re not thoughtful about where you invest.
A little bit over time is the central idea of investment, and, for me, I want that to be funding something good.

Why Ethical?

If you’re investing in business trying to make a difference in the world I think they’re likely to be more innovative and successful; so you don’t have to sacrifice returns.

I’m confident that businesses who are thinking ahead, about sustainability, about how they work in with a broader context, are more likely to be innovating and forecasting trends. I think that’s a recipe for more success not less.

Why Pathfinder?

Pathfinder’s a bit different. A lot of funds are defined by what they won’t invest in. I like the fact that Pathfinder defines itself by investing in what can do good. I want to be a part of that.

For me it just makes sense to invest ethically with Pathfinder. I think the kind of people who will like Pathfinder are people who’ve just gone along with the default fund because they don’t think of themselves as being focused on profits or making a big win.
But really this money isn’t just sitting there, it’s making a difference, one way or another, so actually you should be sure it’s making a difference in the right way.
